Atlanta BWM Lists Many Qualified Dealerships

August 29th, 2007

If you have your heart and mind set on specific options or a specific color combination, you can ask your Atlanta BMW dealer to check if any of them have any of those types of vehicles available that meet your wishes, or at least comes close to your wishes. The chance exists that you may not be willing to accept any less than what you want for your option list, but if you are offered additional options at a lower cost, you might be willing to change your mind somewhat.

The simplest way to locate the car that you want is to look into all Atlanta BMW dealerships on the Internet and come to a conclusion to what they actually have in stock and at what price are offering these vehicles. You can check car sale websites such as Edmunds.com to get a ballpark figure on what you can expect to spend on the car of your choice. The price may not be spot on, but it should be in the same neighborhood to determine if the Atlanta BMW dealers are in line with the area dealers.

When to get a cheap flight to Beijing

August 23rd, 2007

Beijing is a city experiencing rapid change. The Chinese are going all out to showcase the city to the world during the Olympics in August 2008. The main Olympic stadium and the swimming stadium are the most innovative sporting stadiums I have seen.

I have booked tickets to fly to Beijing in late July next year. If you are wanting to find a cheap flight to Beijing to attend the Olympics I suggest you start looking now. Don’t leave it to the last minute as you are sure to be disapointed.

Luckily for me my wife is from Beijing so I have accommodation lined up with her family. If you are not so lucky you will need to be prepared to pay a premium for a hotel in Beijing next year. I recently had a look at the official accommodation provider for USA and Australia (cosport.com) and it will cost upwards of USD 650 per night for four star hotel accommodation.

I have heard recently that the Chinese government will not be restricting the price Beijing hotels will be able to charge during the Summer games in 2008. It remains to be seen just how high the hotels will push up the prices.

If you want to avoid all of the high prices expected next year you could always find a cheap flight to Beijing right now and take in some Olympic test events and also enjoy the world famous tourist attractions Beijing has to offer.

Adventure Travel Is For Those That Need A Bit of Excitement In Their Travels

August 19th, 2007

There is a new kind of travel that is making people feel excited and
that is the adventure travel that many people are turning to instead of
normal travel. It is not just confined to young and daring tourists,
but anyone and everyone can enjoy it as long as you have hot red blood
coursing through your veins. The reason why people find adventure
travel more exciting is because regular travel has become boring and
predictable, and given that airfares are on the decline, there is more
opportunity to look at alternatives to conventional style travel.

At a glance, destinations such as the Bahamas, Belize, and Jamaica all seem to offer some of the same things: beaches, beautiful scenery, and an exciting culture. However, if you delve deeper into each of these tropical nations, you’ll find something that will make a trip there unique and exciting. One location that stands uniquely amongst all of these places is Costa Rica. Yes, it is a country with everything mentioned above, yet it offers many things that none of the other tropical travel destinations do.

Located in Central America, this small nation is covered in some of the most exotic jungles in the world. These jungles offer species of plants and animals that are indigenous to Costa Rica. African Safari Vacation - Why Preparation Is The Key

August 9th, 2007

An African safari vacation for many of us, is a once in a lifetime holiday. Believe it or not, there are professional safari vacationers who make the pilgrage to this mighty continent on a regular basis.

A safari in Africa vacation isn’t just a matter of jumping on a plane and heading off into the magnificent African sunset. Check The Weather

Weather conditions will have a big bearing on how enjoyable your holiday will be. You want to avoid the wet season if possible. As far as the heat is concerned it may be a little more bearable than spending all your time battling wet weather.

This is an area you should discuss with a travel agent. A travel agent is usually qualified enough to know when it’s when or dry in most other countries.

Personal Care

Again, very important when taking an African safari vacation. Everything from clothing to sunburn cream should be on your checklist.

The last thing you need when on safari in Africa is to be lugging around heavy luggage. Travel light was the advice given to me several years ago and it was very good advice.

Light clothing is a must but don’t forget to pack a sweater or jumper because if you are staying out in the wilderness then yes, the temperature can drop. Leave the dancing shoes at home and pack a solid set of walking shoes.

Personal care items such as sunburn cream and lip protection are essential. While on the subject of medication, check with your travel agent on exactly what you can and cannot take to another country.

Your doctor’s visit should also include an examination to make sure you are in a good healthy state.

Personal information such as passports should be up-to-date. Once again, your travel agent is your first African safari vacation guide.

Cruises: Making Sense of the Options

August 2nd, 2007

Where to Go - The short answer is anywhere. Most people think of the Caribbean when they think of cruises, but there are so many more options to choose from. There are great trips that sail around Alaska. There are other trips that sail in the Mediterranean. Still more go to South America, but just because there are a lot of options doesn’t mean they’re all right for you and your family.

The best way to narrow down your options is to decide what types of things you want to do while the ship is in port. Most boats will be pretty similar while you’re on the boat but will change drastically when you get off. If you want a lot of outdoor adventures while you’re in port, look at the Alaskan cruises. There will likely be lots of things you wouldn’t be able to experience anywhere else. If history is more your thing, look at the Mediterranean cruises. They usually make stops in Italy, Spain, and France. Try to tailor your current interests towards making your cruise as enjoyable as possible.
